Are You Having An Out Of Money Experience?
Enlighten Up lovely, you’re standing in a long line.
The issue isn’t your job, your work, your career, your family, your love life.
The issue is your Self-Care related to the amount of moolah you earn.
What ever you earn, paltry or mighty, you want to increase your Self-Worth by applying golden nuggets of wisdom from the “yoga of money“.
THE STORY: Two savvy, bummed out, broke girls with stylish empty purses are living in Manhattan. Their hard luck transforms when they meet the Goddess of money, The Richest Woman in Babylon and Manhattan.
THE PROBLEM: ADDICTION TO SPENDING AND PAYING EVERYONE ELSE FIRST = BROKE GIRLS.
MONEY STRESS is the #1 PAIN POINT I hear when I give my health + wealth remedies in talks around the country. And as nurse, I know STRESS KILLS. Literally.
(For the #2 SHOCKING stressor read on, I sneak it in.)
Here’s what I learned + wrote a lil’ ole best selling book about. I hope it serves you.
You may care to know that...
My daddy was an Italian immigrant who came to ‘America’ without a pot to piss in. All of 17 years old.
He went onto become a millionaire and he taught me a thing or two about the almighty dollar.
I blew off a lot of his advice throughout my young woman desiring absolutely everything years, still I held on tight to the basic principles.
PLUS, my mother did not have a clue about money, cause my father controlled the purse strings, in the old fashioned Italian way in those days, and mom never learned how to handle money.
My father died when I was only nineteen and mom ended blowing through the inheritance like a hurricane.
I had to work hard for the rest of my life, I am not writing to you as a coddled, spoiled rich kid living off Daddy’s money.
Now lets move on to a few introductory principles + scrolls of wisdom for your body/mind and soul.
CONSIDER YOUR SELF-CARE = WEALTH-CARE + HEALTH CARE
PROBLEM: BROKE GIRLS SOLUTION: PAY YOURSELF FIRST!
Advice from “The Richest Woman In Babylon And Manhattan”
“Impress yourself with the idea. Fill yourself with the thought. Then take whatever portion seems wise. It must not be less than one-tenth of all you earn. If one-tenth of all you earn is as much as you can comfortably keep, be content to keep this share…
Invest in spending time with conscious, wise women who nurture their souls as well as their bank accounts.”
WOMEN PAY EVERYONE ELSE FOR THEIR KEEP & THEIR UPKEEP; THEREFORE…YOUR NEW MANTRA + MOTTO
Start with the foundation. Share the goodies in this post with your sisters, daughters, girlfriends, mothers, teens, college students and yoga gals + nurses.
And the #2 stressor? Can you guess??? Losing weight. OY! Money and weight rule the majority of the waking thoughts of the majority of women. OY MAMA MIA! This YogaNurse factoid is not pertinent to this article, but I felt you would wanna know.
This next fact IS pertinent-
FACT: 83% of teens and college students say they do NOT have enough education about money.

Failure to care for one’s needs (pay yourself first) is a form of himsa (violence). Then the rest of the Yama’s do the budgeting (greedlessness, non-grasping, contentment….) …thanks for putting it so well Annette! ~ matt
